Single Slope

A mono-pitched roof (single-pitched roof) is a roofing system with a simple structure that features a single sloping surface leaning to one side. This system is often chosen for projects requiring low costs and fast construction, such as auxiliary buildings, warehouses, or projects with a width of less than 12 meters. The structure of a mono-pitched roof helps minimize the materials used, from beams, purlins, roofing sheets to the drainage system, and details at the peak of the roof as well as wall decorations, thereby significantly saving construction costs.

The use of a mono-pitched roof is particularly beneficial when it is necessary to add a new building adjacent to an existing one. This design allows for avoiding the arrangement of drainage systems along the junction area between the two buildings, limiting the increased load on the columns and foundations of the existing structure. As a result, investors can optimize costs and avoid incurring unnecessary items during the process of expansion or renovation.

In addition, the mono-pitched roof provides advantages in terms of technical aspects and aesthetics. The one-sided slope ensures effective rainwater drainage, reducing the risk of stagnation and leakage. However, in the small to medium project segment, a mono-pitched roof is indeed an economical, flexible solution that effectively meets requirements regarding time, aesthetics, and usability.
